" You're Sweet " heart shaker card

Happy Thursday all,

Today I created this Valentine's day shaker card featuring the You Plus Me stamp set Shaker cards are all the " craze " right now. Truthfully this is the first one I have never made but, definitely not the last :)

This card was so much fun to create and a lot easier then I thought. What made it even more simple to create is that The " Stacked with Love " designer series paper stack coordinates so beautifully with this stamp set set. Both of which can be found in The 2015 Occasions catalog. CLICK HERE to take a look at the entire catalog.

I'm really loving how it turned out. I will be sending this to one of my dear friends. I think she is going to really enjoy it!!

Now, you all know I love dimension and layers :) who doesn't right?

Stampin' Up Project Life + Washi Tape in your planners

Aloha everyone,

Well you all know I have a love for rubber stamping and washi tape. I also have a love for planners, organization is one of my many hobbies ( if it is a hobby at all ) . So why not combine them all. Below is a look at my medium mint Kikki. K planner ( a week on 2 pages).

Stampin' Up products can be used in a wide range of projects and I thought I would share one of the ways I like to use them. The project life sets from Stampin Up make it easy to design and decorate your pages. Also the project life stamp sets from Stampin Up are great for highlighting special events or days. I used the word bubbles from the click and point stamp set for my motivational quotes.

Who doesn't love washi tape???if you are unfamiliar as to what washi tape is...it's basically a low tack paper tape kinda like masking tape, except prettier LOL !! If you are a part of the " planner community " you know washi tapes are a big part of " pretty-ing up" your pages. Here I used Stampin' up's Sweet Sadie designer washi tape set.

**Please excuse my terrible handwriting ( definitely needs some work)

In what ways do you use your Craft supplies other than the normal? ??

Calypso Coral " Happy Day " card / CASE

Happy Tuesday!!! I hope everyone is finding time to create something this week!!!

Here is a card I created with inspiration from my Jan / Feb 15  Stampin' Success magazine ( pg. 8 ).

I changed the stamp sets, color combination and materials. Basically I just kept the layers to make my own twist on it.

Whatcha all think??

As always...here's another view at those fun layers!!!!

*** Quick tip : when adhering small details like those hearts or even sequence, arrange them on your card to your liking, then lift one at a time to place a small dot with our Tombow multipurpose MONO adhesive.

Valentine's box in BlackBerry bliss using the Envelope punch board

Hey all,

Today I wanted to create a Valentine's gift box in non traditional colors. I came up with this ....

The box itself is created by using the envelope punch board ( love this board ) . Using a 8x8 piece of cardstock punch and score at 2" all around. Flip over cardstock and punch and score again at 2" all around. Crease all your score lines. Bring in your corners, fold a adhere together and there you have it a pretty box.

The box is held close with a belly band ( park lane DSP). So this way your recipient will not have to destroy the box when opening.

The embellishments are created by trimming down the tea lace doily to slide under band. A loopy birds nest of thick backers twine in baked brown sugar, then a 2" circle punched out and embossed adhere with dimensionals, scallop circle punch out of silver glimmer paper on top of that is a punched out hearth and a banner made with the teeny tiny wishes stamp set. A clothes pin because it's cute :o)

I really enjoyed making this one!! Hope you like it!!!
