Tea Light Holder / Box
Earlier this week I made these adorable Tea Light Holders / boxes. I looked around for a tutorial or template but came up empty all the others I found were designed for a different type of tea light ( metal frame) so I decided to just create my own. Here's what I made and of course I love showcasing two samples. How do you think they turned out??
Here is where you would do your stamping.
A little bit of scoring.
-For the larger piece. With your 5 3/4" side at the top of score board score at 3/4", 2 1/2", 3 1/4" and 5.
-Turn so that the 3 1/4" side is now at top. Score at 3/4" and 2 1/2".
-for smaller piece. With your 4 7/8" at top. Score at 2" and 2 7/8"
Now here's a quick template.
Start with two pieces of cardstock 1 at
5 3/4" × 3 1/4" and 1 at 4 7/8" × 2 1/4"
Here is where you would do your stamping.

Now it's time for some trimming.
Trim along the score lines shown above in picture making small wedges ( for a better closure).
You should end up with this.
Fold along all score line. (Use bone folder)
Adhere your box together.
Now decorate as your heart desires!!!!

CTD308 / Color Throwdown and 3D Thusday
Today I made a cute little box for this weeks Color Throwdown which could be found here . We needed to use melon mambo, daffodil delight and pumpkin pie. Which are great summer colors. Love them!!!. Also, it's 3D Thursday so of course I just had to create something " off the page". So here it is !!!

2014 LNS Treasure Hunt Clue!!!!

Sticky Strip!!!!! Which is an amazing strong hold adhesive great for 3-D projects, glitter or for any project that requires an adhesive stronger then your snail adhesive.....sticky strip ( item #104294) can be found on page 204 in the annual Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I absolutely love the Motley Monsters DSP!!!!
Whenever I am working on a 3-D project I always use sticky strip to hold it all together. Especially because this box is a little bigger then some treat boxes I tend to stuff them with goodies a bit more and I really need something that holds great.
Supplies:
Stamp set/s: Halloween Street #136567, Tee-Hee-Hee #135125 ( both in holiday catalog)
Inks: basic black, tangerine tango, Bermuda bay
Cardstock: whisper white, Bermuda bay, Sahara sand
DSP: Motley Monsters #135819 ( holiday catalog)

Monday Stampin' Inspiration 09012014
It's Monday Stampin' Inspiration again!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! Today I created a card inspired by the little box on page 158 in the big catalog.
