Halloween Top Note treat holder / September Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Hey everyone!! Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!! Here in Hawaii we have lots of rain and dark skies perfect crafting weather (any weather is perfect crafting weather).

Here I created another September Paper Pumpkin alternative. This time a treat holder. If you are not currently subscribed to My Paper Pumpkin JOIN NOW . Remember anyone who subscribes to my paper pumpkin will receive a special thank you !!! EVERY MONTH you are subscribed
exclusive to only my subscribers and different from my normal thank you!

Here's what I did:

Taking one of the burlap bags cut it open to only be left with the dots of stripes side. Run that piece on the top note die through your big shot ( burlap will not cover entire dies, just center it. Trim frayed edges.

With a pumkin pie piece of CS run that on the top note die.

On your simply scored board place your pumpkin pie die cut ( long end on top ). Sore at 2" and 2 1/2".

Place sticky strip on you burlap piece to adhere to die cut.

With a 8 1/2" × 1/2"  pumpkin pie strip wrap around to create a belly band.

To decorate I used die cuts from kit to stamp "boo" on the inside (trimmed to fit). Used my decorative label punch to punch out stripped die cut and a very vanilla die cut. Adhere together to create tag. Use a clothes pin and some sequence to pin tag to belly band.

Halloween Mini Album using Envelope Punch Board / Flashback Friday

Okay, I have been wanting to make my son a little album of last years Halloween (late I know ...shame on me). I have a confession... It has been something I have been putting off because scrapbooking and mini album's are something that intimidate me. I just have some many ideas I want to do but, want them to be perfect for him to cherish for years to come. So, I finally sucked it up and did it. I brought together ALL my Halloween photos and my Halloween stash and just went for it. I have to say I am so0o0 happy I did. I love how it turned out!!! What do you all think??

I used retired, new and paper pumpkin stamp sets. Retired DSP.

On the envelope board I used instructions for a 4x6 card since that's the size of my pictures. Adhered only 3 sides together. Folded the the 4th over. Adhered to back. Punched 2 holes to string them together. Lots of stamping and a TON of sponging.

At least I can say I finished it before this years Halloween. :0p

" Boo! " Halloween Banner Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Hi everyone! Hope everything is having a great week!!

Here is another Paper Pumpkin alternative. If you haven't heard about Stampin' Up!'s Paper Pumpkin it is an all inclusive subscription kit that comes ready to assemble with everything you need to create that months project. This month is called " BOO-TIFUL" bags. The part that I really love is you get exclusive stamp sets in the kit. If you need more info on Paper Pumkin just let me know and I'll be happy to answer any questions or if you know "yes, I need some happy mail every month" you may Join Now!

On to the banner!! I wanted to create a banner for my little "inspiration shelf" and thought it was the perfect way to make my display a little more festive.

*A little sneak peak at a something for "Flashback Friday"  check back for that post.

I am really loving how it turned out.

I stamped each letter separately with vesa mark on crushed curry cardstock. then embossed in black. I used my 1" circle punch to punch out letters.

I used scrap pieces of the Motley Monsters DSP from past project I did for the pennants.

Used a 2" x 12" piece of DSP scored every 1/2" to create the "rossettes" (not sure if that's what to call them). Adhered my pieces together.

Used a 1/8" circle punch on corners of pennets. String the black bakers twine from kit. Added some of the sticker embellishments from kit to decorate.

Whatcha all think???

Listed below is products used NOT found in kit contents.

September 2014 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!! Here in the usually sunny Hawaii we had a wet weekend of tons of heavy rain and strong wind ( I'm not complaining) which means indoor activities and of course that means crafty time for me in my happy place.

I did some playing fiddling around with My Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin for September 2014. Let me just say this month's paper pumpkin is amazing!!! First of all its a Halloween theme ( my favorite) and the exclusive stamp set it comes with is super cute!! If you don't know what a Paper Pumpkin is...its basically an all inclusive project kit that comes every month to your door for $19.95/ month. Every month is a new project there will be things like exclusive stamp sets, ink spots and so much more goodies. Well enough about that lets get to the fun stuff!!! Here are some cards I made using some of the items in the kit.

Instead of using the sweet little burlap treat bags from the kit I used my Dots and Stripes masks to recreate the bags.

In the picture above is a look at what came in the September 2014 Paper Pumpkin
